Will our leaders take the next step?
The election results this year seem to indicate that citizens of the United States want to embrace Christian values! But, how far are we willing to go in that direction is a major question now. Will we just give “lip service” or will we take action?
Many of our leaders say they are against “partial birth abortion” in our country. But, will they fight against the entire practice of abortion? Will they have the courage to call it murder? We have closed our eyes to a practice in this country of “mass” murder! We need leaders that will take a strong stand on this issue and do something about it.
Many of our leaders say they are for marriages between one man and one woman. But, will they label homosexuality as sin? A person may have a choice in their lifestyle preference, but that choice is wrong if it goes against biblical teachings. We need leaders that will choose to quit sitting on the fence on these important issues
There are many other issues we could mention that our leaders are also weak in addressing. It is important that we keep our eyes open to the condition of our country. The warning messages that are being delivered at our nation’s capitols is just the beginning step in letting our leaders and citizens know that all things are not right in our country in God’s eyes! We have a window of opportunity to do something about the future of our country. But, now that the election is over will it be business as usual?
Pray that the trend of drifting into a Godless society can be reversed. There is a lot of work that needs to be done in giving a warning of the consequences if we fail to take action.
